Okay it has been a while since we have updated, so it will take me a bit to catch up so I figured I would start with the oldest thing first. This was our first vacation of the summer, we came camping here as a substitute for not being able to camping in Oregon (due to it still snowing there) like my side of the family ususally does. Uncle Mark being used as a brace for Abagail's wandering around, she has to walk down hill a little bit right there.
Aunt Melanie and Abagail enjoying a break in the ride. She liked Melanies saddle better than anyone else who was riding a horse she could be on. We had a lot of young horses on the camping trip with us.
All of our little family eating lunch on one of the fallen redwoods. We went on a ride for the afternoon that lasted about 4 or 5 hours. I was impressed with Abagail she enjoyed every minute of being on the horses. She snacked and napped on the horses.
After our ride we went and did the tourist stuff so here we are at the Founder's Tree. This guy is 346.1 ft. tall the diameter is 12.7 ft, the circum. is 40 ft, and the hight to the lowest limb is 190.4 ft. !!!
This is another redwood that was huge, this is Caleb and my brother Mark hagging out in the roots of this tree, the people on top are my brother and sister, Ryan and Melanie and my Dad.
