Okay!! Well today is our last day in Pullman, at 5pm today we will be leaving for the Tri-Cities to visit with family for a couple of days and then off to California, warm weather and lots of fun!!
My whole family will be there for most of this summer except for my oldest brother so I'm planning on having lots of laughs. Heather will leave first on the 21st of May for the MTC and then Chris will follow on July 2nd. Chris leaves just 2 weeks before my family goes to the High Lakes for a three day camping trip. We're taking all the horses who are worthy to make the trip, so this summer we'll be getting them in shape so not everyone is sore once we get in.
Caleb took his last final this morning at 8am and right now is shadowing a doctor in the area, he's getting all geared up for taking the MCAT in July.
This last weekend Abagail and I were able to take a trip to Provo. I had the privilege of being one of my sisters escorts through the Provo Temple, that was an amazing experience! I highly recommend! It's a totally amazing view how families are forever. After the temple since everyone was together we took family pictures outside the temple.
On Sunday my oldest brother blessed his new daughter, they named her Callie Rose Padilla, it was a great event. We had a blast in Utah, I saw old roommates and family that had never seen Abagail got to see her. On top of it all we got to help everyone move out of their apartments; Ryan, Mark and Lisa all graduated. Ryan is going home to California to prepare for grad school, I think and Mark and Lisa are moving to Texas where Mark will be going to Baylor Dental School (I think that's how they spell it) in Dallas. Of course after they have spent the summer in California with everyone.
Well we are ready for the summer vacation and trying to enjoy the fact that we won't always be able to once Caleb starts his career. So family reunions here we come!!
Oh nobody has told us when the Haws Family Reunion is, does anybody know, we're trying to get everything worked out so we can make to as many as possible. Is it over the 4th again?
Now for Abagail... Last time I had written she was just starting to crawl everywhere and know she really is everywhere! she used to confine herself to the living room, I'm not sure if it was the color change from carpet to tile or what but she figured it out and she is everywhere!!
The other night we were watching a show a looked around and didn't see Abby anywhere, we went into the bedroom and lo and behold there was Abby in the closet playing with all the shoes!! She has also gained a love for things that sparkle, she's such a girl!!l

One Month Left!!

Hey everyone. Well we have one more month until summer, Caleb has all of his finals the last week in April and into May!! We are so ready for summer, this winter has been really weird and very cold. At the end of last week we were still getting snow! Don't worry though we are finally warming up, today we finally hit the 60's!!!!
Abagail has been into everything Caleb and I thought we had everything out of the way for to be crawling around and it seems like everyday we find something that she has found she get to. Her new fetish is the dog's food and water dish. We haven't decided if she keeps going back because we keep taking hr away form it or if it's because she actually likes the taste of it! UGGH! Over Easter her fetish was the bottom of the Bakers Rack as you can see. While she ws doing that old water jugs were her favorite toy, and it took at the self contr
ol that Cezar had not to go and take it away from her as it is usually him who is taking them off the shelf. Cezar has been really funny with the whole thing, he cries if Abby is going to get into any of his toys or is heading for his food. Thanks to Cezar we can keep a closer eye on her :)
This week is the first week in a month that Caleb hasn't had a test!
Congratulations goes out to my cousin Jessica!! who will be getting married June 6th in the Bountiful Temple!! Welcome to the family Cameron! Jessica we would all like to see him and the Nebeker reunion is the next weekend so if you could make it that would be fabulous.
Well my hour window is up and so is Abby. So I guess I"ll up date a little later.

California
We just got back from California this last Sunday evening, it was a great vacation; very nice to get away. I had forgotten how much i miss that country smell, not the poop just that good clean smell. Anyway it was fun at least for me ans Abagail. Caleb spent almost the whole time studying for a test that he has tomorrow. Who has a test three days after Spring Break anyway??
It was a lot of fun to get to do the things that I wasn't able to do last summer because of the pregnancy, but it was also a rude awakening to see just how out of shape I am. I got to trade with my little sister Melanie and for a couple hours she watched Abagail for me and worked horses. Spring Break was a great get away from Pullman while we were there it was always in the high 60's or low 70's, a fantastic change from the Pullman 40's and wind. So we took some pictures to document the event.
We had a couple fun and exciting things happen while we were there, Abagail learned to crawl!! It was kind of funny all the sudden she could crawl, not very fast but she was moving forward this time. I was so excited for her to learn to crawl but it only been a week and I wish she'd just stop moving!
On Monday we took some cows to Orville for a friend of the family and on the way home stopped by to see our friend Joe Shelton, he runs a rescue facility for Thoroughbred horses, and we ended up taking home a horse. His name is Custom Design and he was born in Florida at a big fancy barn. He was kind of a dud of a race horse though, he only made $3,000 on the track so hopefully he'll be a jumper for me. He's a sweetheart of a horse though. So now we need to sell some horses so you know of anyone who wans a Quarter Horse you can send them my direction :)
FYI: it's thundering and right now, and my big brave Doberman is hiding under the bed crying, while Abby sleeps.
To fill up time I also started training our Quarter Horse mare, I was surprised she was really really good. She knows absolutely nothing but is really smart and easy going. It was nice exercise.
The other really exciting news of the week was my brother and sister both got their mission calls!! They waited so they could open them together so Sunday afternoon everyone in the Provo area got together at Mark and Lisa's i think and we were on Speaker phone in California. Heather is going to Chile, Santiago North mission and Chris is going to Spain, Malaga mission. It was a lot of fun, my other brother Mark went to Spain but in the Bilboa mission but our cousin went to the same mission that Chris is going to. Heather reports to the MTC on May 21st and Chris on July 2nd. THen the day we got back here to Pullman another one of my friends called to say that she had gotten her mission call as well and that she is going to the San Diego mission and reports to the MTC on May 7th. It will be fun I hope Heather, Chris and Paige all run into each other in the MTC. that would be so fun! IF you couldn't tell we're all pretty excited for them. Oh and bothe Heather and Chris are Spanish speaking, Paige is English.
This last week really made me realize how much i missed the farm life. Anyway I think Cezar finally woke Abby up with his crying so I'll finish up later.
Oh, CONGRATULATIONS PAIGE!! since I never actually called you back, sorry!

Soo Fun!!
This Blog thing is awesome!! We've heard from people we haven't seen or talked to for like a year! It was good hearing from all of you! Yesterday we had some good news and some bad new, mostly good though. Over the weekend we went out to lunch with Scot and Lana and to keep Abagail from letting everyone in the restaurant know exactly where we were sitting we gave her my phone, such a bad idea. when we got home i tried to call my dad (he is doing our taxes for us) and he couldn't hear me!! Abagail had given my phone water damage!! It was not exactly what I was thinking would happen to it. I've dropped my phone in water dishes and didn't have anything happen to it, I guess Abagail was the straw that broke the camels back. So we got on ebay and bought a new phone and yesterday i called my mom to see if it worked and wha-la (however you spell that) it worked!! but I'd already bought another one, I just have an extra now.
Okay, on to the more important stuff. Caleb and I have started the medical school thing. We're in the process of deciding where we're going to apply to school. Caleb is planning on taking the MCAT in July and applying for school in August, so we're just doing the final selections and trying to figure out how much $$ this is going to cost so we can be planning. I personally am voting for back east, i thought the University of Kentucky sounded like fun, but I wouldn't be upset if he got into UC Davis or UCSF, you know, a California school, as long as we're not too far south. I'm getting nervous and I'm not the one that has to apply!! My hat's off to you Lindsay there are a lot of big choices to make.
2 more days till Spring Break Starts!! then we're off to California for a week!!!

Hi Everyone,
Just got this set up so it may take a while to get everything going the way we want. Caleb is still going to school in Pullman at WSU, he will graduate in December of 2008 with a degree in Biology and 2 minors in Spanish and Chemistry.
Abagail is doing well, she is just starting to crawl!! She's got the shifter stuck in reverse though. The other night she got stuck in the corner of the living room.
I am still working at Safeway in the Produce Department from 4am - 8am..UGGH ! my life stays pretty much the same.
Cezar is doing good he mostly lays around the house except at bath time when he tries to hide from you or pretend to be asleep. He's
adjusted to Abby pretty well and is finally pretty set on his rules. Every now and then you can tells he's jealous, he tries to get in on all the attention but is still very careful around Abagail.
The Picture above was taken in the begging for February when she was just starting to sit up on her own, this used to be Scots background on his phone. The picture to the right was taken on Christmas Eve right before the Haws Christmas dinner enchilada-fest. Abagail's outfit was from Uncle Josh and Aunt Ellen.
